After a decade of producing, I’ve shared hundreds of demos on SoundCloud and grown increasingly frustrated by its lack of private-sharing and collaboration tools. Despite endless feature requests, SoundCloud’s updates have been mostly cosmetic. We still rely on messy feedback chains, one-link sharing, and no insight into how our tracks are heard.
So I decided to build something better.
Why We Built Demmo
Every project I worked on felt like Groundhog Day:
- One private link made it hard to remember who you sent links to, and control access.
- No version control – dozens of files uploaded for the same song without any structure or organisation
- Weak listening analytics – no way to see where people skipped or how much of the song they listened to.
- Cumbersome feedback loops – email, whatsapp, discord – feedback scattered all over the show made it hard to track.
After ten years of “we hear you” and no meaningful changes, I realized that if we want better tools, we have to build them ourselves.

Meet Demmo
Demmo is the demo-sharing platform producers have always needed, designed by producers who know the pain points. Here’s what it offers:
- Multiple unique private links
Share different versions with collaborators or clients without risk of cross-link confusion or leaks. - Real-time listening heatmaps
See exactly where listeners play, skip, or drop off so you can fix problem spots in your track. - Built-in LUFS meters and lossless streaming
Upload WAV, AIFF or FLAC files and stream them in studio quality, with accurate LUFS readings. - Kanban boards and version control
Organize your project stages – Work In Progress, Finished, Released etc. and store notes. - A/B comparisons
Line up versions side by side to easily compare changes or differences between tracks. - Desktop app for automatic file syncing
Works like Dropbox for your music folder. Any file you drop into your Demmo folder uploads automatically.
And we’re only getting started.
Open Beta: Your Feedback Shapes the Roadmap

We’re in open beta right now, with hundreds of producers testing Demmo and sending us feedback every day. Every suggestion – big or small – drives our product roadmap, and we release improvements daily.
