The Course In A Nutshell
Build the foundations required to begin producing your own electronic music. This course is designed by the electronic musician, for the electronic musician. All concepts are taught and explained inside the DAW and piano roll.
- Starting from the basics we cover everything you need to know to begin composing music inside your DAW.
- All concepts presented inside Ableton Live 12 but can be transferred across all DAWs.
- No requirement to learn to read sheet music.
Tutor
Founder, Lead Sound Designer, Product Manager
Julian or “Jules” is a South African born, UK based producer. He founded Basic Wavez originally as an apparel company in 2018. All the while focussing on music and sound design. In 2020 his musical project (Bound to Divide) started to gain traction along with his YouTube channel. Basic Wavez started releasing Sample packs and Sound Banks and the response was astounding. Jules’ main focus since has been to constantly develop and improve all aspects of music creation and education – he is now in charge of the planning and creation of all products at Basic Wavez, as well as guiding and working with various other sound designers and musicians.
